Living Libations Cedar Essential Oil, also known as Atlas or Atlantic Cedarwood, is a rare, steam distillation from wild trees growing in France. Cedar is a more refined fragrance than Moroccan Cedar Bark. Though they are both distillations from the same tree, Cedar Essential Oil is a more precious distillation using only the finest pieces to distill. This brings a complexity and depth to the range of scents in this cedar bouquet. It has a deep, sustained effect rather than the sharper oils such as Oregano and Thyme. It has a calming centering influence and is beneficial to the skin.

It also strengthens the spirit and smooths the appearance of the skin on the back of the legs and hips.

"What the lion is in the animal kingdom, the cedar is among trees...For many centuries, people came to pray and find comfort in the aura of these fragrant trees in the 'holy forest' on Lebanese Mountain slopes."
~ Suzanne Fischer-Rizzi, Complete Aromatherapy Handbook

"Steadiness is the essence of cedarwood. It is the spirit of integrity, of stability,
of solidarity in all things."
~ Valerie Ann Worwood, Aromatherapy for the Soul
